Large, bulky knives
are heavy and increase the risk of diver entanglement, particularly
when attached to a diver's leg. Knives should be able to operate
as tools and yet be small enough to stow out of the way until
needed. The Halcyon knife sheath can be used for most small knives. The Halcyon Titanium knife has a dimension of a three-inch blade, with a total length
of six inches. This heavy nylon
pouch is designed for mounting on any 2" harness, preferably on the waist
strap where it severely limits the risk of entanglement from fishing
line, kelp, or navigational guidelines.
